All investors in the world who invested in China already should be concerned about the Three Gorges Dam and pay attention to it because it would be Xday if the Three Gorges Dam should be collapsing. Since I am going to delete "The Progression of the Three Gorges Dam. From September to December in 2021" before the end of this year and those blogs are old, I am going to list the link to the introduction of the Three Gorges Dam from USGS. This is the detail of the introduction of the Three Gorges Dam:
I. The Progression of the Three Gorges Dam. -January 2022 Up to January 25th-
In this paragraph, I am going to report the progression of the Three Gorges Dam especially the water level and news inside of China from the beginning of January to now. In the last month, the water level reduced down to 170 meters from 173 meters although Typhoon Rai passed through Hong Kong and Taiwan.
On January 4th, the water level at the Three Gorges Dam is 170.28 meters. Compared to the 31st of last month, it is about 40 centimeters lower. According to the dam data, the water level was in the 170-meter range and was gradually declining. Compared to a month ago, The water level has continued to drop as a whole. NISHIYAN Channel expected this trend to continue for some time on January 1 the inflow increased slightly, but the water level has decreased since then. On January 7th, the water level at the Three Gorges Dam is 169.97 meters. Compared to January 5th, it was about the same level. According to the dam data, the water level was below 170-meters. Compared to a month ago, the water level continued to drop. Recently, the inflow increased a little. At 1:45 am on January 8th, there was a 6.9 magnitude in Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai. The Chinese government does not announce the number of casualties for this earthquake yet, but there is some information that there are some victims who are buried on the internet. At the same time, a magnitude 6.6 earthquake occurred near Shandan County, Zhangye, Gansu. The number of casualties for this earthquake is still unknown.
On January 11th, the water level at the Three Gorges Dam was 169.86 meters. Compared to January 9th, it was about 10 centimeters lower. On January 5th, there was a magnitude 6.9 earthquake in China. It was upstream of the yellow river. Then, there were 5.1 and 4.5 magnitude earthquakes which were considered aftershocks. On January 2nd, there was a magnitude 5.5 earthquake in Yunnan followed by 4.9 and 4.7 earthquakes on January 5th. This is the uppermost stream of the Three Gorges Dam and is an earthquake-prone area. The water level is still currently maintained below 170 meters. Over a long period of time, the water level continued to drop overall as usual by June 10. They will lower the water level to 145 meters. Recently, the inflow increased a little, but it has not had much of an impact. On January 16th, the water level at the Three Gorges Dam was 170.05 meters. Compared to January 14th, it was about 20 centimeters higher. A serious accident at a hydroelectric power plant occurred in China on January 13th. At the hydroelectric power plant near Chengdu where is a big city in Sichuan province, the facility was destroyed and the city on the downstream side was submerged to the first floor. Unfortunately, 9 people died due to this accident according to the news. There may have been a problem with the work procedure due to the damaged water pipe valve. The water level is stable at around 170 meters and has not changed much for about a week, but it has risen a little. On January 18th, the water level exceeded 170 meters again. Compared to January 16th, it was 13 centimeters higher.
On January 20th, the water level was 170.10 meters. Compared to January 18th, it was 8 centimeters lower. Guardian reports that China produced 4.07 billion tons of coals an increase of nearly 5% compared to the previous year. The British Guardian also reports that China is the largest producer and consumer of coal. The Chinese leader cut the bar when CO2 emissions are reduced to virtually zero by 2060, but the reality is that it is far from that. On January 24th, the water level at the Three Gorges Dam was 170.20 meters. Compared to January 22nd, it was 5 centimeters higher. In July 2021, a tragic accident occurred in the town of Zhengzhou in central China. The heavy rain flooded subways and tunnels and killed many people. The cause of the flooding was that the nearby dam was about to collapse and was released without contracting the relevant organizations. According to the news at that time, it was announced that 12 people were killed on the subway due to a series of heavy rains. In January 2022, seven months later, it was announced that 398 people were killed including the flooding of the tunnel. This announcement is also suspicious because 139 people were hidden and 8 people were arrested in connection with this matter. The bereaved family and others put pressure on the numbers that were announced to be incorrect. They reluctantly change the numbers. This is a method to announce as little damage as possible and to prevent sparks from spreading to them on their liability issues. Because of this, there will be zero reliability. The water level exceeded 170 meters on January 18th, but it has not changed much since then. This is related to the increased inflow and the reduction of discharge. The water level at the Three Gorges Dam is 170.14 meters on January 26th. Compared to January 24th, it is five centimeters lower.
II. The Current Progression of the Three Gorges Dam. -January 30th-
The water level at the Three Gorges Dam is 170.36 meters on January 30th. Compared to January 26th, it is 22 centimeters higher. When NISHIYAN Channel checked the discharge of the Three Gorges dam at 10:00 AM, it was 5770 cubic meters per second. With a simple calculation, it is estimated that the power generation status is 23.08 percent. The water level keeps 170 meters and has been on the rise recently above 170 meters. The data is slowly changing one of the causes is that while the inflow is increasing. The discharge is constant.
III. The Future Weather Report in China
After January 30th, Wendy expects that there will be a little rain, but it will be almost sunny. When NISHIYAN Channel notices one thing when he was checking the movement of rain clouds. There is a big city called Chongqing upstream of the Three Gorges Dam. It does not seem to snow much in the wide area to the north. Even if the surrounding area is covered with snow, it is raining only in the dotted line area. Windy expects rain clouds to pass through and around the Three Gorges Dam. It may snow or rain over a wide area especially. Strong rain clouds are expected at the beginning of next week. Therefore, NISHIYAN Channel expects that the water level may rise further if the inflow increases.

IV. Petit Information about the Three Gorges Dam
The Three Gorges has various problems. They do not talk about potential concerns that NISHIYAN Channel thinks of such as climate impacts, garbage problems, ecosystem impacts, sand issues, and so on. The CCP claims that the dam is operating safely, but they do not touch on potential issues. The amount of rain will gradually increase toward July. There was information that power generation by a new turbine was put into operation at the Baihetan Dam located upstream. It will be in early November. The dam has been in full operation since June 2021 and is equipped with 16.1 million kilowatt class turbines. It was stated that 4 turbines had already been put into operation. And the other day, the 5th turbine was put into operation. At that time, Nishiyan Channel was wondering when he saw the video of the Baihetan dam that was flowing. The water is flowing from the 6 emergency spillways at the top of the embankment. As the name suggests, this is a floodgate to be used in an emergency. It is normal and rarely used if you look closely at the hole.
It seems that the Three Gorges Dam also has a protected dam. Looking near the Three Gorges Dam, the back of the screen is downstream and the front is upstream. The center is the dam body. If you look a little closer, you can see the artifact compared to the surroundings. It looks quite large. Compared to the dam body, it may be about one kilometer long. It is the circle mark on the back. The fact that the road is so undulating is likely to be about 150 meters high. If you look at the width, it is estimated to be about 300 meters. The details are unknown, but it looks like a rock-filled dam. What if this collapses because of the discovery of a new artifact? Another anxiety was found.
In Pakistan, there is news that a new dam began to store water. This new dam was built as one of the belt and road projects in China. China money is involved. Moreover, the place where the dam was built is bad. It was built in the Kasmir region. It has been a conflict area with India for many years. I hope that it will not be a confusing story because it is a case that may damage the stability of the region. NISHIYAN Channel wonders if this business will not be affected by the usual debt traps. There are rumors that it is trapped in various countries.
NISHIYAN Channel expects that the supply and demand of electricity will be tight in China in February. There are two reasons. The first is that the Winter Olympics will be held in Beijing. It will be held from February 4th to 20th, but he thinks that coal-fired power generation will be stopped to make the sky in Beijing Blue. The same thing happened at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The second is related to Indonesia. China imports coal. Nearly half of which is Indonesia. Previously, it was dominated by Australia, but due to the feud between the two countries, China's imports have plummeted. Indonesia banned coal exports from January 1st to 31st to protect its electricity supply and demand, as a result, NISHIYAN Channel predicts that China will run out of electricity in cities other than Beijing as coal prices soar in February.
Medium and small ships are installed in the Three Gorges Dam. The Three Gorges Dam has routes for medium-sized and small boats. This is installed just north of the dam body and it is always in the picture that the water level information seems to have accumulated up to this point. This is an elevator system, not a pool system. A method in which one ship enters the gate and goes up and down. This is a short time and it seems that you can go up and down in about 40 minutes. It may look small in the photo, but if you line up the photos that the ship passes through, you can see that it is a big one. Even though it is a medium-sized ship, it can be used for even large ships that can carry manufactured cars.
The backside of the Three Gorges Dam is full of holes. You can go to the movie at 7:00 to see a photo of the water storage side of the Three Gorges Dam. Normally, you can't see under the surface of the water, but what's going on under this? Indeed, it seems that there are 69 holes the backside of the dam is like this and a 175 meters dam is built on the 10 meters bedrock layer. In the middle of the dam body, there are 23 regular spillways to control the flood. Below that, there are 22 holes for draining mud and there are 22 crust gates that allow flowing naturally when the dam is full at the top. In addition, there are two holes on the left and right for discharging dust such as driftwood. Actually, it was full of holes.
The Three Gorges Dam also has an emergency spillway. In the cross-section, water is taken from around 180 meters and discharged from here on the downstream side. It is uncertain whether this lock was used in the past. Some commentators on YouTube posted on the Channel already. NISHIYAN Channel did not go to the site and see it with his own eyes. So, he can not say for sure; however, now that you can see satellite images even in China. He wants you to take a closer look because there was an image of sentinel dated December 21st. At the central part of the embankment, when a flood occurred, a large amount of water was discharged from here and it became a hot topic that the dam might be distorted in 2020.
There are facilities for hydroelectric power generation in the three circles. Water passes through the turbine and is discharged below the surface of the water on the downstream side. There are 14 turbines on the left bank, but 5 turbines are actually used. There is a ship lock that is large at the top of the screen and 10,000-ton class vessels can come and go. Ships pass through a five-tiered pool with a height of 100 meters or more. The image is small, but it will be around white. It seems unlikely that there is any problem with water transportation. As you can see, the ships come and go in this way. We confirmed three roles of control hydroelectric power generation and water transportation. NISHIYAN Channel judges that the Three Gorges Dam is still existing.
